1 Peter 1:8

“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,“

We are here to empower the world to discover the profound joy and fulfillment that comes from a relationship with Christ.

It’s not about our religious efforts, our good deeds, or our words that claim we are of God, we need something greater. We need to be rescued, we don’t need help getting to God, we need God to come to us.

Jesus came and died for this very reason. To restore our relationship with him, to be in our presence and show his love through action. Jesus didn’t die for us to only go to heaven, he died to leave us his Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit comes with gifts:

Freedom, Peace, and Joy.

Joy: a fruit of the Spirit. Comforting, content and full of peace. An enduring attitude of the heart and spirit, and a natural part of the Christian faith. It’s often connected with, but not limited to, following Jesus and pursuing a Christian life.

If you are missing Joy in this life, it’s time to find it in Christ.
